The Amurang Foundation is dedicated to the welfare of underprivileged children and teenagers in the Indonesian town Amurang and Tondano on North Sulawesi. Many of these children come from troubled Central Sulawesi. 

The first project of the founders Watse Tigchelaar and Ritsko van Vliet, building a home, was completed in August 2006. Meanwhile, the foundation also realized a study fund and a primary school. Students and volunteers trips to Amurang to teach. The money actions are now focused on building a home in Tondano.
